Students have the opportunity to consult a teacher on each topic using the Google Class web resource or e-mail at a specific time, according to the schedule. After processing each topic, the student must complete a task received from the lecturer according to the schedule that will be available on the Google Class. Obligatory tasks: 1) to compose abstract and complementary presentation in outline on the topic; 2) to answer questions of the topic for self-study. Requirements for the abstract: the volume - 4-5 pages, the size of the font - 12, the interval - single, the maximum size of illustrations - 1/3 pages of A4, at least 5 literary sources, references to the source in the text of the abstract, the correct formatting of the citation. To confirm the completion of the assignment, students must additionally send responses to the lecturer by e-mail no later than the time schedule specified. The lecturer evaluates completed tasks in the categories "passed" or "failed". To receive "passed" grade, student should send self-study work as a summary in a outline and answer the theoretical questions. If the student receives "failed" grade, he has time to redo the assignment by February 28 and send it to the lecturer again. If the answers to the assignments are not delivered on time without serious reasons or are not enrolled, the student loses the opportunity to write a test work and obtain the corresponding modular points without the possibility of reassignment. The control test work on the results of self-study work includes 4 theoretical questions (2 points each) on the problem, carried out on self-study work. The work is estimated at a maximum of 8 points. The criteria for evaluating the student's answer to the theoretical question are completeness of disclosure of the issue (1 point) and analytical reflections, ability to draw conclusions (1 point). Control test work is carried out at the first lesson in March 2018. Duration - 1 academic hour. Themes for self-study: 1. Basic concepts of crystallography (4 hours) 2. WORK PROGRAMME OF DISCIPLINE Advanced Geochemistry

AРPENDIX І

Lecturer: Shnyukov Sergey (ScD, Head of the Department of Mineralogy, Geochemistry and Petrography, E-mail:- [email protected] Types and forms of control activities for checking students' self-studying work, evaluation criteria:

The control of students' self-study work is implemented in two forms: in January-February, using Google Class and e-mail, in March - by conducting a control test work.

Work in January-February 2018 will take place according to the schedule below. Students should study the proposed topics at the basic level.
