Here are some of the things to be done in a Sikkim

Visit few of the many monasteries in Sikkim. There are many famous

monasteries such as the Rumtek, Pemayangste and Tashiding.

Trek along theYuksom and Dzongri trails and go up to the Goecha Peak to

see unspoiled forests and rhododendron gardens.Go river rafting across Sikkims Teesta and Ranjeet rivers. Both rivers have

good quality rapids though the Ranjeet river should be attempted by more

experienced rafters.

There are over 400 species of birds, 400 species of butterfly, 400 species of

orchids and 40 species of rhododendron. Take a look at some of natures

finest offerings.

The Silk Route of the ancient ages travelled through Sikkim. Visit the Nathu

La Pass which is along the Chinese border to travel on a road which has had

traffic for over a thousand years.
