A. General setting up of DESD committees
Three different interdependent levels:– National– Regional– International

National committee– Call on all stakeholders of society
Institutions Local representatives Private sector NGOs & associations Faith-based organizations

Regional committee– Coordination on a regional level: readjustment/ ev
aluation of program – Has a triple role: coordination/ synergy/ emulation
(enact)
International committee– Incorporates both bottom-up and top-down
approaches– Small size (max 15 members)– Liaison with the UN and UNESCO
