About the Central terminal
The Central terminal of UAB “Senukų prekybos centras” started operations on July 8, 2008.
The terminal is the biggest one in Baltic States, using modern storage facilities and modern storing equipment. An innovative warehouse management system is implemented in the terminal.
The Central terminal is situated near the Vilnius– Klaipėda highway (106 km), on the main Lithuanian roads intersection point.
The central terminal’s floor area is about 73 000 m², stock area is about 60 000 m². Storage capacity is about 68 000 m³.
The terminal’s operating height is 12 m.
A parking area for terminal’s personnel transport is set near the terminal.

About the Central terminal
There are 21 unloading ramps in terminal’s unloading zone: 18 ramps for end unloading, 2 ramps for side unloading and 1 ramp for unloading small trucks. The floor area of goods receiving zone is about 2 900 m².
There are 18 loading ramps in terminal’s loading zone: 10 ramps for end loading, 7 ramps for side loading and 1 ramp for loading small trucks. The floor area of goods pre-loading processing zone is about 2 300 m².

Storage facilities
The terminal is equipped to store not only palleted goods of standard size (1200x800 mm), but also oversized goods, i.e. reeled goods, panels, console goods (tabletops, window sills, decorative boards, etc.) and goods that are not low-temperature resistant.
There is zone for small goods storing in the terminal. The floor area of that zone is about 9 200 m² and storage capacity is about 2 600 m³. The size of one location is 600 x 450 x 520 mm (depth x width x height).

Equipment Electrocars for one or two pallets and electric forklift trucks are used for end unloading, loading and transporting of overall size goods.
Multidirectional electric loaders are used for side unloading, loading and transporting of oversized goods.
Electric reach trucks are used for goods’ lifting and lowering.
Electric picking trucks are used for picking of goods from 2 or 3 stores.

Equipment
A storing equipment designed and suitable for end unloading, loading and transporting of reeled goods is used in the terminal.

Equipment
All movements of goods in the warehouse are only done using data storage devices.

Information technologies used
A state-of-the-art american-made software, which meets world standard requirements is used to execute and control processes in the terminal.
