requirements; experimentation/quantitative evaluation of candidate technologies

• April 2012: Project Update at CNI Spring meeting, Baltimore• June 2012: In-person meeting planned following JCDL, June 14-15• July 2012: Alpha draft of specification; early tools, libraries and other

implementation demonstrations• July 2012: Planned Update at Open Repositories, Edinburgh• September 2012: Beta draft of specification; public draft standard for trial

use; release of demonstrators and review• November 2012: Respond to public commentary, begin finalizing

specifications• January 2013: Specifications stable; tools and libraries released• February 2013: Approval by NISO Discovery to Delivery Topic Committee,

Release to NISO members for balloting and member input 3
