• Templates allow standardization of project plans which in turn provide a way to measure different projects with normalized data/metrics.

Sharing Resources

• All resources that will be working on projects should be added as an Enterprise Resource in Project Server.

• Resources should belong to an organization in the Org Structure.

• Project Managers will select resources from the Enterprise Resource Pool, assign them to tasks and publish the project plan.

• Double click on the task and the Task Information window will appear, select the Resources tab.

• Under Tools, Assign Resources (ALT+F10)

• Click on the resource cell for that task and select resource.
