• Allergies / Anaphylaxis

• Communication impairments: deaf, mute, too young, too old,

language barriers (travel)

This patient is allergic to the drug that would normally be given to control severe seizures!

This patient has received Streptokinaze in the last 6

months!

Other examples

• Difficult intubation! Use fiberoptic intubation. • This patient has an Implanted Defibrillator!• Organ & tissue donation wishes on file.

Do no perform an MRI, this patient

has a clipped cerebral aneurysm!

No anesthetic gas, no succinylcholine

should be administered.
