German Night at WMNF Radio 88.5 FM Tampa, FL

German-American Society was offered an opportunity to serve authentic German food to employees and

fund raiser volunteers during the 2014 Winter Membership drive on Friday, February 14th, Valentine’s

Day. At that time the radio station promoted our club for over 3 hours on the following shows; The Traf-

fic Jam; Route 66; Soul Party. We meet many people at WMNF who were happy to learn about our club

and were very appreciative of our efforts. Led by our treasurer, Ilse Kearney, our members Hanni

Kreutzer, Dave Loucks & Elliot Wagner drove to Tampa bringing our food (Bratwurst, Knockwurst,

Bauernwurst, Leberkäse, bread, potato salad and sauerkraut) and the equipment necessary to accom-

modate meals for 25-30 people at the radio station.

Dear Members and Friends,

sorry this is a short note. To all my "Schützlinge" stay well. Helmut Beck and Josie Wagner are doing well

again. Ann Pfister is in the hospital and I sure hope we can see her dancing soon again. To all of you, stay well

until I am back.

Greetings

Your Sunshine Lady.
