Difference between MIS and CS

Computer Science creates information- enabling technologies (computers, etc.)

CS deals with technology for its own sake

CS is math-oriented MIS concentrates on the use of computer

and information technology to solve business problems

MIS is business and management oriented; however, a level of technical capability is required.
