Over a period of 16 months, we have worked at BG.Hannibal plant as the principal cranes suppliers.

During this time, our main objective has been “the execution of all heavy and difficult lifting operations in a very safe manner”.

SOTRIM has demonstrated high commitment to working under maximum safety conditions.

SAFETY

All equipment are kept in excellent working order,

are regularly checked by our maintenance team and undergo periodic registered inspections by in line with current legislation .

Accessories for lifting (shackles, wires,

chainblocks…) are also subject to regular and detailed examinations.

The report to the right documents one of the inspections performed by NISER to confirm that no defects or weaknesses exist.

Before each lifting operation, operators check lifting equipment and accessories to make sure they are safe.

We have a very simple approach to safety: we strive for zero error .

PERFORMANCE/COST



Sotrim was requested to carry out lifting operations in a very

short notice,which we have achieved in a time record.

Sotrim was able to meet client’s requirements by supplying

heavier cranes at the cost of the crane requested, to satisfy

urgent demand.

All of this with no compromise to safety. Indeed ,during our

work at BG.Hannibal plant, Sotrim has no lost time injuries

(LT I’s).

In order to ensure a safe working environment,

over the past four years, our QHSE team has

trained and taken initiatives to provide our

employees with the knowledge necessary carry out

their assigned duties safely.

During SGP period, Sotrim’s staff undergo training

and development programme which cover areas

such as inspection/ registration/safety audition.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT



A safety supervisor is present on BG site to control all operations and makes sure that all safety measures have been complied will (document n°1).

SOTRIM’s maintenance team regularly verifies our equipement and makes sure it is always under optimum conditions of exploitation.

MAINTENANCE

SOTRIM has always two approches to maintenance :

Preventive maintenance

Corrective maintenance

Maintenance is performed by SOTRIM’s technicians or by a subcontractor according to the needs.

Corrective maintenance; maintenance executed after detection of a breakdown to correct problem and restore equipement to an optimum

working condition.

Preventive maintenance: maintenance executed

according to a pre-established calendar. All the equipments of

SOTRIM are subject to a continuous preventive

maintenance.

Throughout all operations, the presence of Sotrim’s

management has been of great assistance to the

rigging superintendent, enabling areas of concern to

be dealt with in a proactive manner .

PARTNERSHIP At the bigining of second quater of the year 2009 through

our subsidiary MLM.SOTRIM Group entred into joint

venture with MEDIACO Group (WWW.MEDIACO.FR)

which becomes co-shareholder of MLM .

This joint venture will give SOTRIM and MLM access to

the very big fleet of mobile cranes and lifting equipement

and particurly The out standing know how of MEDIACO

team arroud the globe and especially in north Africa as

well as to MEDIACO Training experts and facilities.
