Introduction
• The visual representation will illustrate the inter-relationship in a food chain (producer, prey and consumer)
• The storyboard will mainly include the following contents:– What is food chain?– The role of producer/prey/consumer– The relationships among producer/prey/consumer– Games (match the role and give the right sequence of
being producer/prey/consumer in a food chain)

What is food chain?A food chain shows how each living thing gets its food. Some animals eat plants and some animals eat other animals. For example, a simple food chain links the trees & shrubs, the giraffes (that eat trees & shrubs), and the lions (that eat the giraffes). Each link in this chain is food for the next link. A food chain always starts with plant life and ends with an animal.Wong, A. (n.d.). Food chains and webs. Retrieved July 4, 2006, from http://www.vtaide.com/png/foodchains.htm

The role of producer
Plants are producers. They use light energy from the Sun to produce food (sugar) from photosynthesis.
5
The role of prey
Smaller-sized organisms always be the prey as an energy source for larger-sized organisms (i.e. consumer).
6
The role of consumer
Consumer cannot make their own food by themselves. They need to consume other food sources as gaining energy for their daily life.
7
The relationships among producer/prey/consumer
Plants use sunlight for photosynthesis
