Primary Care Support Services are relocating
Important information for GPs, Pharmacists, Dentists and Optometrists
Contractor Supplies and Logistics Services PCSS provides contractor supplies and transport of medical records for GPs, Dentists, Optometrists and Pharmacists.
Ordering of supplies and transport of medical records to and from Primary Care Support Services will move to Walsall PCSS on the following dates:

Local courier arrangements to GP practices will not change and current schedules for collection and delivery will remain in place, pending any future review of the service. Further information about ordering supplies, including access to a web-based ordering facility, will be provided separately.

Performer List and Market Entry Services
PCSS provides Performer List and Market Entry (Pharmacy) services to Registrars, Doctors, Dentists, Optometrists and Pharmacies.
Performer List and Market Entry Services are moving to Walsall PCSS where they will be managed by an expanding team of experienced staff. The dates for these moves will be:

Changes to Primary Care Support Services (PCSS)
As part of the transformation of Primary Care Support Services (PCSS) we will be relocating a number of local PCSS to three Centres of Excellence in Walsall, Surbiton and Preston. This includes:
• Screening services moving to Surbiton PCSS• Payment services moving to Preston PCSS• Medical Records and Registration services moving to Walsall PCSS• Performer List and Market Entry services moving to Walsall PCSS
This leaflet provides information about each move and the new contact details.
Please make a note of the new contact details which affect you. All communication will need to be sent to the new address from the dates stated.
Please be assured that we are working hard to ensure that there is a smooth transition with minimal disruption to our day-to-day service provision.

Payment Services
PCSS manages payment services to GPs, Dentists, Pharmacists and Optometrists on behalf of NHS England.
Payment services are moving to Preston PCSS where they will be managed by a very experienced and knowledgeable team who already undertake the majority of this work for the north west of England. The table below outlines the date from which Preston PCSS will take responsibility for the next payment run:

Screening Services
The PCSS Screening department provides comprehensive administrative support for the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening programmes.
Screening services are moving to Surbiton where they will be managed by an existing and experienced PCSS which has close working links to the regional Quality Assurance (QA) office and will maintain the same safe and high quality service. The table below outlines the dates when each move is taking place:
