Speech ROM can be used as Data ROM. Both can be accessed simultaneously.

Built-in LCD voltage regulator. LCD will not flicker when expose to a noisy power line.

Built-in PLL, which generates the 4.6MHz (9.2MHz for EM73A89B) clock from 32.768KHz, provides accurate timing for the voice playback.

PWM direct drive speaker.
