Active learners tend to retain and understand information best by doing something active with it.

Sensing and Intuitive Learners

Sensors tend to like learning facts.

Patient with details, usually good at memorizing

Intuitives tend to prefer discovering possibilities and relationships.

Better at grasping new concepts, comfortable with abstractions.

Visual and Verbal Learners

Visual learners remember best when seeing pictures, flow charts, diagrams, demonstrations.
