ECS (ETH / E1) - COMMISSIONING
Setting up of the unit:• Power unit on• Connect using the ITMS ECT• Set-up the communication ports for the devices you are connecting to it• Set-up the Sever IP address • Click on set after making a change to save the configuration to the unit.• Call to commission site with representative.
Port Settings• SAM1.5 = Physical port 8 – Virtual Port 310, Baud rate 19200.• L&G = Physical port 10 – Virtual Port 309, Baud rate 19200• SAM2 & Access Control = Physical port RS485 – Virtual Port 301, Baud
rate 9600
ECS (E1/Eth) Communication Cable:• A “Straight RS232” cable must be used between the ECS-L and the computer.
(DB9 to IDC 10Way)• Once Connected open the “ITMS-C ECT” software.• Input User Name and Password, select “Serial Communication) and Click on

Communication Controller Software (ECT):ECT Version is viewed on the top left corner as indicated with the yellow circleEG: “ITMS-C Ver 2.12”
Firmware Version is viewed on the button left corner as indicated with the Red circleEG: “S/W: 4.0.1.4”
Set IP addresses as received from operator as indicated in the blue circle. After IP addresses has been completed, click on set to save them to the communications controller
