3 Getting Started
Touch the Super Pokémon Rumbleicon on the HOME Menu, then touchOPEN to start the game. The TitleMenu will be displayed.
The first time youplay the game,select NEW GAME.If you have savedata, selectCONTINUE. When the gameresumes, you'll be at the gate of atown (p. 9).

4 Saving and Quitting the Game
To delete save data, press and hold + + + simultaneouslywhile the game is starting up.
Your progress inthe game is savedautomatically atcertain points.There is only onesave data file. Please do not turnthe Nintendo 3DS system off while"Saving..." is displayed on screen.When you want to quit playing,pres to display the PauseMenu and choose SAVE AND QUITbefore closing the software orturning off the power.
♦ No matter where you were whenthe game was saved, you will beat the gate of a town when youcontinue the game.
♦ Deleted save data can't berecovered.

5 Fields and Areas
Each field contains several smallerareas. Clear an area by battling withPokémon that live there. It's up toyou to befriend increasingly morepowerful Pokémon so you can meetthe requirements for participating inthe Battle Royale (p. 6) andproceeding with your adventure.Towns (p. 9), from which you setout on your quests, can also befound on the fields.

Press to use themove assigned to ,and press to usethe move assignedto . Some Pokémonknow only one move. Every movehas a type, and the damage themove does depends on how itmatches up with other Pokémontypes.
When a Pokémon youdefeated tips over andfalls to the ground,touch the Pokémon tobefriend it.
Press to display the Switch Menu (p. 7). In this menu you can switchthe Pokémon you are controlling(your current Pokémon) to one ofyour other befriended Pokémonwhenever you want.

6 Special Types of Battles
Special rules apply to the followingtypes of battles. In these battles,Pokémon won't become your friendseven if you defeat them.
You will win thebattle if you defeatall the Pokémon inthe arena withinthe time limit.When you defeat Pokémon, willappear. Pick them up to extend thetime limit.
♦ In a Battle Royale, you can'tswitch Pokémon until your currentPokémon faints.
Select up to twoPokémon inaddition to yourcurrent Pokémon,then battle as ateam of three. You can't switchPokémon during the battle. Afteryou've reached a certain point in thegame, you'll be able to get WindupEnergy when you defeatPokémon. When you have enoughWindup Energy, press to use thepowerful Hyper Mode for a limitedamount of time.

Send a massivegroup of yourPokémon againstlegions of otherPokémon. Keeppressing quickly or rotate tobuild up the power of your charge. Ifyour team is stronger than the othergroup of Pokémon, you will win andadvance. If your team is weaker,you'll lose the Charge Battle, andyou'll have to strengthen yourforces to try again.
7 Switch Menu
Press to display the Switch Menu.In this menu, you can switch yourcurrent Pokémon or look atinformation about the Pokémon inyour Collection.
♦ The game will be paused whenyou display the Switch Menu.
♦ If your current Pokémon isattacked while switching, it won'tbe switched out.
The Pokémon in yourCollection will bedisplayed in a list. The"Power" numberindicates the overallstrength of each Pokémon. You canswitch your current Pokémon byselecting a Pokémon from the listand pressing .
Pre in the Switch Menu tofilter the list of displayed Pokémonor sort the order by name, type andso on.

You can register aselected Pokémonas one of your"Favorites" bypressing in the Switch Menu. Yourfavourite Pokémon will have a symbol and be displayed at the topof the list after your currentlyselected Pokémon.

Press in the Switch Menu todisplay detailed information aboutthe selected Pokémon.
Shows the name and type of themoves registered to and . Themore ☆ symbols the move has, thestronger it is. Moves with additionaleffects have a symbol.
♦ When the move type matches thePokémon's type, the move ismarked with one or more ★symbols, and its power is greaterthan normal.

9 Town Facilities
Towns are the setting-off points ofyour adventure. You can use LaunchPads and tunnels to travel to variousplaces. Towns also have manydifferent facilities to help you onyour journey.
♦ Some facilities are availableoutside towns as well.
♦ As you progress through thegame, more and more facilitieswill become available.

10 Two Player
You Will Need:
♦ Two-Player mode becomesavailable after you clear the firstBattle Royale.
♦ In Two-Player mode, the gamewill not be paused when theSwitch Menu is displayed.
This software allowsyou to take on avariety of areas with afriend viaNintendo 3DS LocalPlay and befriend more Pokémonthan usual. Up to 2 players canparticipate. Each player must have acopy of the software.

Setup① The host selects RECRUIT, and
the player who joins (the guest)selects SEARCH FOR A PLAYER.If communication succeeds, theguest's screen will show thename of the host. When the guestselects the host's name, bothplayers will proceed to the lobbyfor Two-Player games. The hostcan then use the Launch Pad toselect an area.

♦ You can only go to areas thatboth of you have already cleared.Battle Royale arenas, TeamBattles, and Charge Battles arenot available.
② Wonder Keys are shared betweenyou and your friend. If the HP ofa friend's Pokémon reaches 0,you can restore some of it byhaving your current Pokémonstand next to it. Even if there areno Wonder Keys left, the gamewill continue as long as oneplayer's current Pokémon still hasHP. Tipped-over Pokémon willbefriend the first player to reachthem. When you've cleared anarea, you'll go back to the lobby.To quit Two-Player mode, go tothe End Connection facility.

Activation Procedures
♦ The Shopscope becomesavailable after you clear the firstBattle Royale.
This software supportsvisits to your ToyShop by other players'Mii characters, andbattles with otherplayers' Toy Pokémon Collections.To communicate using this feature,all players must activate StreetPassfor this software. Your player name,Mii name, and greeting will be seenby other users.

④ When you win abattle against acustomer, you'llbe able toborrow his orher Pokémon. It will show up atan area entrance as a HelperPokémon and help you in youradventure. It will leave afteryou've cleared the area.
Select STREETPASS SETTINGSunder SETTINGS in the Toy Shopmenu. When you press , you'll see"Deactivate StreetPass for SuperPokémon Rumble?" Select YES tostop StreetPass communication.
