MY ROLE IN ENVIRONMENT

I have the responsibility to conserve the environment and its resources sustainably through initiatives like;

• Practicing the concept of the 3Rs i.e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle of waste materials(making briquettes from waste)

• Practice best farming practices e.g. organic farming and kitchen gardening, terracing

• Promotion of energy saving technologies for mitigation of climate change and human health from indoor air pollution

• Protecting the environment against degradation e.g. tree planting, policies, advocacy,

It ensures sustainable biodiversity for use now and for future generations

It keeps the environment clean hence preventing diseases and hazards emanating from environmental destruction
