1. LIFE’S A JOURNEY
DIFFICULT SITUATIONS ARE PLACES ALONG THE JOURNEY
PLACES THAT YOU……MIGHT SEE COMING
ARRIVE AT
GO THROUGH > > > > TO SOMEWHERE ELSE
YOU DON’T STAY THERE
YOU SHOULDN’T STAY THERE ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IF YOU ARE THERE, FIGURE OUT
HOW YOU ARE GOING TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THAT PLACE
HOW YOU ARE GOING TO TRAVEL THROUGH TO THE NEXT PLACE
IT’S UP TO YOU!!!
12
1. LIFE’S A JOURNEYWILL ROGERS
We CANNOT EVER………….catch up with the horizon
We MUST PURSUE…………a constant program of self-improvement, a never-ending journey into new fields of
knowledge and learning.
A TRAGIC OBSERVATION
In our country, the greatest country in the world,
if I went out and stopped 2 dozen people on the street,
I am afraid there wouldn’t be 6 who could recite a specific desire which governs their lives. there wouldn’t be a dozen who could tell with certainty
why they went to work this morning.
CAVETT ROBERT SUCCESS WITH PEOPLE

1. LIFE’S A JOURNEYIF/THEN
OUR TICKET
(1) IF we have…….a definite DESTINATION,
(2) IF we are……….willing to START NOW,
(3) IF we do not…..look for THE EASY ROUTE but
IF we do……….look for THE ROUTE THAT WILL MAKE US STRONGER, an optimistic route,
a route of service,
(4) IF you are………willing to pay the price,
THEN ……………..we can with certainly know that our ticket can take us
anywhere in life we want to go.
CAVETT ROBERT SUCCESS WITH PEOPLE

IT’S YOUR CHOICE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ARE YOU GOING TO BE BITTER?
OR FORGIVE ………………………..& GO THROUGH IT?
ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE UP? OR PRESS ON …………………….& GO THROUGH IT?
ARE YOU GOING TO COMPLAIN? OR BITE YOUR TONGUE…………& GO THROUGH IT?
ARE YOU GOING TO ___________?OR ___________............................& GO THROUGH IT?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IT’S GOING TAKE SOME TIME

Courage is standing your ground in spite of fear. QUOTE BY CAVETT
STANDING IN THE FACE OF FEAR
STANDING IN PEACE, NOT ANXIETY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In many circumstances, subconsciously, QUOTE BY CAVETT
We know the problem But We are not willing to acknowledge the problem Because We are not sure we have courage to tackle the solution
NOT WILLING TO CONFRONT SOMEONE ON AN ISSUE WE ARE TROUBLED WITH
18
TOPIC 2 Dis-COURAGE-ment-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Discouragement can be The Seed For A Greater Future.
Discouragement is The Trumpet Call For Self-Evaluation, Rededication To Goals, And Renewed Effort. A Cue For Taking InventoryA Challenge To Rise To Greater

finding himself occasionally discouraged. The only disgrace is to be complacent and do nothing about it.
QUOTE BY CAVETT
WE ARE ALL THERE ON OCCASION
…………………………………………………………………………………………… No one ever drowns from falling into the water.
He drowns only by remaining there. QUOTE BY CAVETT
……………………………………………………………………………………………
ARE YOU GOING TO STAY THERE OR
ARE YOU GOING TO GO THROUGH THE PLACE

YOU CANNOT JUST DRIFT WHERE YOU ARE & EXPECT CHANGE.
YOU NEED TO WANT IT. YOU MUST DETERMINE TO MAKE CHANGES. YOU MUST TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO

Topic 3
POSITIVE ACTION
and
SELF-IMPROVEMENT
22
Topic 3=======================================================
=
If we MOTIVATE ourselves………..TO THINK POSITIVELY, that is fine, but it’s only a preliminary step.
We MUST MOTIVATE ourselves…TO ACT POSITIVELY Otherwise our entire endeavor will only be an academic experience.
THOUGHT PUT INTO MOTION is POWER; Remaining static is sterile and of no value. Sometimes it’s hard for an experienced person to realize this.=======================================================
=
You must apply what you learn. ACTION
You can just listen and then leave. ACTION
You must target certain things to do. ACTION
You must assess and develop a plan. ACTION
23
============================================== Many people are meticulous, even fanatical
about the food they eat.
What about the mental food we consume each day?
Do people give studied importance to their mental intake.
Is yours a balanced mental diet? CAVETT

PURSUASION:Unless we have within ourselves certain forces such as
ENTHUSIASM, DETERMINATION, and DEDICATION
to overcome THE OPPOSING FORCE, we cannot MOVE FORWARD.

Are they right? Do you believe them?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s a time for everything? Song by The Byrds – “To Everything There Is A Season”

YOU, YOU, YOU, YOUYou can be a creator of circumstances
Things will no longer happen to us, We Shall Happen To Things

It is YOU and YOU ALONE that determines

Topic 5
YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU
Positive morality, if it is to be of any value to any of us,
must start with one’s self.
It certainly does not have its beginning in criticizing the other person because of his faults.
Criticism is a very cheap thing but
no one yet has ever had the price to buy it back.
QUOTES BY CAVETT

Topic 5
YOU, YOU, YOU, YOUThe world is a looking glass
and gives back to every person a reflection of his own attitude.
