Notes:(i) The exact schedule will be notified upon arrival in Singapore(ii) 17 July Airport Terminal pickup arrangement will be provided for Organizer committee Official Designated Hotel Package. Transfer times will be arranged accordingly based on the travel information provided by the participating team to Organizer Committee. (Participating teams will be requested to confirm their departure plans with Xin Xiu Wushu before arrival.)(iii) Should participants be extending or shortening their stay in Singapore, Organizer Committee, will only assist with the extension of the stay. All additional expenses incurred shall be borne by the participants.(iv) Shuttle services will be provided between the Competition Venue and Official Hotel. Seats are subjected to availabilities and priority will be given to participants who registered with the Organizer Committee for accommodation package.(v) Hotel checks in at 12pm. Participant teams check in before the check in time, additional charges incurred shall be borne by the participants.

Notes:(i) Age of competitors are calculated as of 1 January 2015(ii) All competitors will have the option to challenge in the Open Category. (Freestyle &Int’l Routine 3)(iii) Participants for individual events are prohibited from competing outside their age category. Group Events are not segregated by gender. The respective age category is determined by the average age of the competing group(iv) Events with less than 8 competitors will be combined with the same events of another age group(v) Group events are restricted to a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10 competitors per group. Group exceeding the limit will be barred from the event. Half point will be penalized for team below the minimum.

4.1 Chinese Wushu Duan Wei System Appraisal The Organizing Committee and the Chinese Wushu Association, holding the evaluation for Chinese Wushu Duan Wei System Appraisal. Evaluation for Wushu Duan Wei 1-3 segment base on approval competition result. Wushu Duan Wei 4-6 segment Specialized Field Evaluation, and 7-8segment (overseas) training evaluation have to register in advance and personally to Wushu Duan Wei System Appraisal together with all the relevant information.

5. Competition Methods

5.1. All Judges and referees selected will have a minimum qualification of a National or International grade judge. 5.2. Wushu routines shall be in accordance with the “Regulations of Wushu Competition Routine, 2005” and the “Competition Method of Traditional Wushu Taolu Competition, 2012” endorsed by the Chinese Wushu Association 5.3. There are no specific regulations for apparels, but appropriate costume is compulsory 5.4. Participants must bring their own weapons for the competition. 5.5. For events with less than three competitors that do not fulfill the criteria to be combined with a similar event shall be stream under “other events” within the same age group. 5.6. The minimum number of competitors for an event to be declared as a separate event will be set at 8 competitors 5.7. Group events may be accompanied with background music. Background music shall be provided by the respective team. (Music format should be in MP3 format. Copyrighted contents are strictly restricted 5.8. Time Limits 5.8.1. Individual routines (Barehanded/apparatus): Within two minutes 5.8.2. Taiji Quan routines: Within six minutes (a reminder whistle will be given five minutes into the routines ) 5.8.3. Taiji Weapon routines: Within four minutes (a reminder whistle will be given three minutes into the routines) 5.8.4. Group Quanshu and Group Taiji Quan routines: Within six minutes 5.8.5. Group Apparatus and Group Taiji Apparatus routine: Within four minutes

*0.1 points will be deducted for every two seconds exceeded from the time limit for Individual events and five seconds exceeding for the Group and Taiji events


6. Winners and AwardsCompetitors will be receive a placing according to their Final score. Each competitor will receive either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Participation Medal and a Certificate of Achievement.

8. Registration

Registration Date: 1 October 2014 – 31 May 2015

8.1. Registration forms are to be submitted via email/online. A confirmation

receipt detailing all relevant participant and competition information will be

issued for reference.

8.2. Registration forms are to be filled up neatly to prevent registration errors. A

copy of the registration form should be made for reference.

8.3. Participants are to provide proof of identity (ID/Passport). Foreign

participants are to attach a copy of their passport with photo/ID along

for registration.

8.4. Participants must attach two passport sized photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm) along

with the registration form.

Application Changes or Withdrawal

8.6. Should a competitor wish to withdraw; he/she would be required to submit a

written application with all relevant documents attached within 10 days

(10 June 2015) after the application closing date. All fees excluding the registration

fee will be refunded in full if all criteria of withdrawal has been met.

8.7. Should a participant wish to change any competition information after

10 June 2015, he/she shall do so with written application signed by coach.

SGD 15/- will be charged for each event changes.

8.9. Participants must apply for their travel documents with their local immigration

authority, or assign a travel agent to apply on their behalf.

8.10. Xin Xiu Wushu will assist participants with relevant information in obtaining visas

and/or other travel related documents upon request.

8.11. Participants could also appoint XXW to apply on their behalf for a fee of

SGD 70/- per person

10. Other Matters

10.1 All team manager; coaches shall take part in the technical meeting of coaches and judges starting at 10.00am on July 17, 2015. The meeting venue will be notified upon your arrival.

10.2 The athletes shall register for competition 30minutes prior to the competition, if they are absent after three times roll call, they will be regarded as “abstention”

10.3 All of the athlete’s competition results shall be cancelled if he/she does not participate in the competition without prior notification

10.4 All delegation teams should check the information in the program brochure carefully and thoroughly. If you find any mistake in the applicant and category list, please send the completed correction application form to the Competition Department of the Organizing Committee for review before July 18, 2015. The form shall be signed by the applicant himself/herself or the team manager, leader, or coach whose contact number is also to be specified. The Chief Competition programmer will accept the change if the correction is in line with the original entry form, otherwise the application will be rejected.
