BRONAUGH, Michael Benjamin, 24, Edmonton On December 11, 2011, Michael Bronaugh was shot by police during an armed bank robbery. He was transported to hospital where he died on December 12, 2011.

GOLTMAN, Lisa Rachel, 22, Edmonton On May 4, 2013, Lisa Goltman was found unresponsive in her bed at Alberta Hospital Edmonton.

BUCKNER, Trent, 18, Edmonton On April 21, 2013, Trent Buckner was found unresponsive in his room at the group home where he was a resident.

STOTHARD, Bradley Brian, 26, Peace River On August 6, 2013, Bradley Stothard was found hanging in his solitary confinement cell at the Peace River Correctional Centre. He was transported to hospital where he remained until his death on January 29, 2015.

MAGOMADOVA, Aminat, 14, Calgary On February 26, 2007, Calgary police responded to a call and found Aminat Magomadova unresponsive in her home.

WOOLFSMITH, Mackenzy Jane, 1, Calgary On May 3, 2012, Mackenzy Woolfsmith died from blunt force injuries she received the previous day at the home of her day care provider.

A.S.B., 5 On October 28, 2014, A.S.B. was found unresponsive on her school bus.

HILLACRE, Byron Levi, 25, Edmonton On April 30, 2015, Byron Hillacre became unresponsive following a struggle with police.

WILLIAMS, Thelma Eileen, 67, Edmonton On February 1, 2012, Thelma Williams became suddenly unresponsive while being evaluated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for abdominal pain.

Shawn Rehn was found the night of the shooting in a St. Albert home, deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

WALKER, John Jordan, 28, Grande Prairie On September 28, 2012, John Walker was working on a portable trailer structure when he was fatally electrocuted.

CROFT, Jason Clark, 38, Edmonton On May 25, 2016, Jason Croft was found unresponsive in his cell at the Edmonton Institution.

J.J.S., 28-weeks On February 12, 2015, J.J.S. was found experiencing a seizure after he had been put down for a nap.

JOYAL, Britni Randal, 27, Calgary On April 2, 2016, Britni Joyal was witnessed by members of the Calgary Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to take her own life.

ROGG, Justin, 30, Edmonton On August 30, 2016, Justin Rogg was found hanging in a University of Alberta building.

LEPINE, Adrian, 63, Edmonton On February 23, 2017, Adrian Lepine was found hanging in the basement of his home.

LOVETT, Ryan Alexander, 7, Calgary On March 2, 2013, Ryan Lovett died from overwhelming sepsis due to group A streptococcus and parainfluenza virus infection.

DANIELS, Daryll Edward, 45, Red Deer On November 11, 2015, Daryll Daniels was found submerged in a creek. He was last seen on October 6, 2015, evading police in a stolen vehicle.

H.M.P., 16 On February 19, 2017, H.M.P. was found unresponsive in a hotel room. She was transported to hospital where her condition deteriorated and she died on February 23, 2017.

T.D.M., 17 On March 9, 2017, T.D.M. was found unresponsive in a truck by a passerby. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

SZYBUNKA, Klayten, 37, Edmonton The afternoon of June 28, 2014, Klayten Szybunka was found deceased in a fenced off area in downtown Edmonton. He had been issued a ticket for public intoxication and released by police earlier in the afternoon near that same site.

DASNA, Father Gilbert, 32, St. Paul QUADROS, John, 55, St. Paul On May 9, 2014, Father Gilbert Dasna was shot and killed by John Quadros. John Quadros then took his own life during an exchange of gunfire with police.

EISEL, Trevor Clinton, 33, Stony Plain On December 25, 2017, Trevor Eisel took his own life following a prolonged standoff with police.

T.D.S., 2 On September 25, 2014, T.D.S. was pronounced deceased after he was found unconscious by his mother in their home on September 18, 2014. On February 6, 2017, his mother pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

L.Z.H., 1 On February 23, 2016, L.Z.H. was brought to the hospital in cardiac arrest. On February 27, 2016, he died from the effects of cold exposure.

J.E.M., 4 months On January 6, 2016, J.E.M. was found unresponsive in an adult-sized bed he was sharing with his mother.

LONGRIDGE, Rachael, 21, Edmonton On December 23, 2016, Rachael Longridge was killed in her home.

L.S.P., 5 weeks On May 9, 2017, L.S.P. was found unresponsive in her home.

D.B., 17 On September 21, 2017, D.B. was found unresponsive in his home. Despite medical intervention he was pronounced deceased in hospital the same day.

ROGERS, Richard, 54, Pitt Meadows, BC On September 24, 2014, Richard Rogers received a fatal chest injury when a large air conditioning unit fell on him.

HOUG, James, 19, Grande Prairie On January 2, 2015, James Houg was fatally shot during an altercation with police.

WOODALL, Cst. Daniel, 35, Edmonton On June 8, 2015, Cst. Daniel Woodall of the Edmonton Police Service was fatally shot in the line of duty.

BLIND, Tyrone Blue, 31, Edmonton On January 31, 2018, Tyrone Blind was found hanging in his cell at the Edmonton Institution. He died on February 1, 2018, following withdrawal of care.

AUGER, Rhonda, 49, Edmonton On April 12, 2017, Rhonda Auger died from blunt force injuries after falling from the third floor of the Transit Hotel.

DRISCOLL, Timothy, 34, Edmonton On December 2, 2016, Timothy Driscoll was found unresponsive in his cell at the Edmonton Remand Centre. The cause of death was later determined to be choking, and the manner suicide.

WEAFER, Lorna, 36, Edmonton On May 7, 2014, Lorna Weafer was killed during a predatory black bear attack at Suncor worksite near Fort McMurray.

OSTERLAND, Cody Derek, 23, Drumheller On September 21, 2016, Cody Osterland was found unresponsive in his segregated cell at the Drumheller Institution.

HILL, Katherine Helene, 92, Calgary ON November 15, 2016, Katherine Hill died in hospital from complications of a blunt head injury.

ROY, Jason Gary, 34, Calgary On February 28, 2014, Jason Roy was shot multiple times following a vehicular pursuit with police.

S.R., 4, Maskwacis On September 18, 2014, S.R. was taken to the Ponoka Hospital with a closed head injury. She was later transferred to the Stollery Children’s Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on September 27, 2014.

WHITEHEAD, Darcy, 47, Edmonton On May 19, 2016, Darcy Whitehead was found unresponsive in a cell at Edmonton Police Headquarters.

JANVIER, Tracy Lyle, 41, Janvier First Nation On August 21, 2016, Tracy Janvier was struck by a Royal Canadian Mounted Police vehicle on a northern Alberta highway.

CLARK, John Wyatt, 14 months On November 28, 2013, John Clark was admitted to hospital where he died the next day from overwhelming staphylococcal septicemia due to deficiency dermatitis and malnutrition.

S.S.A., 5, Edmonton On October 13, 2015, S.S.A. was brought to hospital where she was found to have major head trauma. Despite neurosurgical intervention she died on October 16, 2015.

RADITA, Alexandru Gabriel, 15, Calgary On May 7, 2013, Alexandru Radita died from bacterial sepsis due to complications of neglect and starvation.

HEFFERNAN, Anthony, 27, Calgary On March 16, 2015, Anthony Heffernan was shot during an altercation with members of the Calgary Police Service.

HALFE, John Douglas, 26, Goodfish Lake On September 6, 2017, John Halfe was shot during an armed altercation with police.

BROWN, Rodney Richard, 32, Fort McMurray On May 13, 2015, Rodney Brown began seizuring while in RCMP custody. Emergency Medical Services attended and transported him to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
