Personality Personality - The unique combination of
traits that make you an individual. These traits include behaviors, attitudes, feelings, and ways of thinking that are characteristic of you.

Describing Personality Extrovert – Friendly and outgoing
personality Introvert – Less outgoing and thoughts
are directed inward.
Optimist – Someone who focuses on positive.
Pessimist – Someone who looks at the negatives and expects the worst.
Describing Personality Assertive – Able to stand up for yourself
and express your feelings in a nonthreatening way.
Passive – Holding back your feelings and yielding to others

weaknesses. 2. Able to take on the responsibility of daily
living. 3. Caring toward themselves and others. 4. Able to handle disappointment and learn
from them. 5. Able to feel enjoyment and a sense of
achievement.
How is our personality formed? Psychologists state that there are two
ways our personality is formed. 1. Heredity – passing from parent to
offspring just like hair color and eye color. 2. Environment or Surroundings For the most part, personality is a
combination of both.
