1 COACH DROP& PARKING – 1PM CONCERT OFF Coach Drop Off – the Map below shows where coaches should drop off choirs for the 1pm show. • Coaches should go into the turning circle and drop off at the front of the SSE Pavilion. • Choirs should then entre the SSE Arena through the main entrance. (PLEASE NOTE: THE

PAVILION IS CLOSED). A marshal will be positioned here and will point the coach to the coach park (also on the Map). This is adjacent to the water’s edge and beside the M3 flyover.

• Coaches should have the name of the school on the front window on an A3 SHEET to allow teachers to find the buses easily on egress.

coach to the temporary coach park (also on the Map). This is off Queen’s Road. • At 7:30pm coaches should move the Overflow Car Park where choirs will be directed

after the show. • Coaches should have the name of the school on the front window on an A3 SHEET to

allow teachers to find the buses easily on egress.

3 BEFORE THE SHOW - PARENT DROP OFF • Please ensure parents know that the Pavilion is closed • Parents should drop children off by parking in the main car park and walking over to the

main foyer doors. The main car park is free for the first 30 mins. Parents should not park on the double yellow lines, as this will throw traffic into chaos.

• The drop off area is inside the main doors of the Arena. • Teachers should ensure they are there BEFORE parents/children begin to arrive. • Parents should be advised to arrange car-pools to bring children. • Parents should be asked to leave immediate once they have handed their child safely

over to their teacher.

4 AFTER THE SHOW: COACH / PARENT COLLECTION 1. SCHOOLS LEAVING BY COACH • All schools leaving on coaches will leave first to free up space for parents / guardians

to pick-up their children. • All buses will be parked in the ‘Overflow Car Park’ marked on the map. • Teachers should make sure that they have the mobile phone number of their coach

driver and should phone them as soon as the concert is over. • Buses should remain in the coach park and teachers should guide their groups to the

coach park. (Marked ‘Overflow Car Park’ on the map) 2. PUPIL PICK UP FOR PARENTS / GUARDIANS IN THE AUDIENCE • All pupils being picked up by parents should remain in their designated seat at the

end of the concert. • Audience members are requested to remain seated if they are picking up in the Arena

or leave if they have no-one to pick up. • Approx. 10mins after the show ends parents / guardians will be invited to pick their

children up at their relevant Door. 
(See detailed MAP and TABLE below) • Parents should be advised not to enter the choir seating area, but should remain in the

concourse and choir members will be handed out to them. • Choirs participating in the 1pm show are asked to depart as quickly as possible in order

to facilitate the arrival of the choirs for the next show.

3. PUPIL PICK UP FOR PARENTS / GUARDIANS NOT ATTENDING THE SHOW • Parents / Guardians are asked to park in the main car park to keep main roads free

from unnecessary congestion. • Parents / Guardians should make their way to the main entrance where they will be

held until pupils leaving on coaches have left the Arena. • Approx. 10mins after the show ends parents / guardians will be invited to pick their

children up at their relevant Door.

If in doubt about where to pick your child up please speak to a Steward or member of Staff who will be happy to assist you.

5 SCHOOL SEATING PLAN KNOW YOUR DOOR: Schools will be seated according to Blocks & Doors rather than specific seats. The Map and plan below show the designated allocation for all schools taking part in the Peace Proms on Sunday 25th February 2018. Please make sure you enter and leave through the allocated door. You will then be shown to your seats by stewards. If parents are collecting children from the Arena, please ensure that they know the allocated door.
