BUSINESS’ SEMINAR

CCCGB organised a business seminar on March 15th 2018 in Mayfair, Central London with the following speakers: Cedric Ohoussi, Director at ‘Eunisure Ltd’, presenting the importance of business protection; Emilio Scintu, Business Developer at ‘Northern Fides’, on the use of trusts for succession planning & asset protection; Steve Calvert, Director at ‘NIC Services Group Ltd’ on Franchise opportunities and James Pattison, CEO of ‘Star Up Direct’, offering access to funding and mentoring under the government-backed Start Up Loans Scheme.

HSBC Bank representatives were also available at the meeting. The event was anchored by Ian Pelham Turner, the Royal Family photographer and co-hosted by TV presenter Diana Jervis. A ‘Questions & Answers’ session concluded the presentations followed by a networking cocktail.

A Word from the Chairman

Dear Readers, It is always an honour and a pleasure to welcome you to our monthly CCCGB News. This new edition is essentially an overview of our latest business event held during this month of March. Although our main target was the Congolese business community based in the United Kingdom, we were privileged to see a diversified mix of entrepreneurs from different backgrounds and even from overseas. Being passionate about entrepreneurship, we assembled a group of experienced speakers covering different aspects of support, especially on ways to start, finance and protect businesses. I trust you will enjoy browsing the pictures and would appreciate your valuable and constructive feedback.

Through the organisation of various events, meetings and conferences, it wants to create opportunities for entrepreneurs to meet and find a source of development and growth for their investments.
