Conference Call meeting - January 28, 2008, 3- 4pm

On the call: Ann Moore, Wendy-Lin Bartels, Bob Tietz, Kristina Jackson (taking notes), GregDriskell, Teresa Watkins, Sunny Diver, Deb Burr, Hal Knowles, Wes Wheeler, and AndrewWalmsley, Billy Williams

ACTION ITEMS IN RED

1. Burl Long had pancreatic cancer surgery. Our board sent flowers, there are lingering

concerns about his health.

2. Alumni participation at Class VIII sessions

Please email Deb about which you are attending and follow up with Project Team about how

to participate.

Ongoing business:

4. eNewsletter Deb has info but we do not have a layout volunteer. We will use class repsfor contact to solicit help and content.5. NRLI Shirts Would be expensive, needs to be set up with a T-shirt shop that will do theset up and make shirts over time. Suggestion: we get a sponsor but Project Team would nothave time to participate. What about a contribution from a company (i.e. Progress Energy)? Wewant to sell these to alumni assoc. and new students. Should do it at a scale where it pays foritself or is a fundraiser. We need permission to use logo since we are not officially affiliatedwith NRLI. What about embroidered patch that we can put on anything?Bob & Wendy-Lin will check prices for embroidered patches.

6. Treasurer update - Wes says we have $1,625. Deposits made in Nov/Dec. No withdrawalsyet. Wes will talk with Deb about the tax return for 2007.

7. Membership update 2 new memberships since last call. Everyone on Board should be paidmembers! A reminder email should go out to all alumni.Wes will draft and send to Deb. She will review & send out to Board members who then get

commitment from class rep to send out or send out themselves.
