Farm Bureau Picnic Saturday

The annual Farm Bureau Picnic will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Brodhead Fair-grounds at 10 a. m.

Bradley Saylor, Farm Bureau Secretary, reported that $50. will he given away in door prizes. A total of ten .persons will win $5 each.

The Farm Bureau will also give prizes (or the usual games and contests, some of which are: marbles, soft ball, rope Jumping, sack races, husband calling and hog calltpg.

A speaker will come from Louisville and give a short talk, Saylor stated.

Farm Bureau members are asked to bring their basket din-ners. Drinks will be furnished.

According to Mullins. farm-ers who fail to file within the 10 day period couM cause the tobacco produced on the farms to be ineligible for price sup-port.

Mullins pointed out that the loss of price support for any farm could mean a loss-in the arpount of money the farmer would receive for his tobacco crop.
