Nysted – Denmark Experience the Hajkutter Festival

The harbour is the heart and soul of Nysted. It is located at thefar end of Nysted Nor cove, with beautiful views of the FemernBelt, Rødsand offshore wind farm, as well as the lovely, old markettown and Aalholm Castle. Located on the island of Lolland, justnext to Falster. Both islands are surrounded by sea and straits. Onmore than 600 km of seaside, you will find clean beaches andcharming harbors. Good cycling trails bring you through beautifulnature, past historical manor houses and small cosy markettowns. Lolland and Falster are well known as the pantry of Den-mark and offer culinary experiences with local ingredients. Duringthe summer, various events take place in Nysted. The HajkutterRegatta from Nysted to Rostock will be on the final day of theHajkutter festival in the first week of August.

Rostock – Germany Hanseatic flair and sailing traditions

Rostock is an attractive Hanseatic city and famous for historicaltreasures in the city centre. Modern architecture is carefullycombined with Gothic brick stone churches, convents, Hanseaticgranaries and merchant houses. National Maritime Museum Gdansk – Poland

The National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk documents and pro-motes Polish maritime heritage and history. Founded in 1960,today it hosts nine branches. In the centre of Gdańsk old town,by Motława river, it welcomes visitors to Crane, Granaries, Ship-Museum “Sołdek“ and Maritime Culture Centre. In Gdynia, themuseum is a ship-owner of “Dar Pomorza“ sailing ship. Formerevangelical church in Hel serves as the Fisheries Museum, offeringalso the open air boats’ show and a timber tower. Vistula LagoonMuseum in Kąty Rybackie presents original boatbuilding work-shop. Two other divisions, Vistula River Museum and ShipwreckConservation Centre are located in Tczew. The collection of NMMcomposes mainly of artefacts excavated during underwater ex-ploration and conserved in a museum lab.

Gdansk – Poland Welcome to one of the oldest Baltic cities
