Purpose

The Rural Trauma Team Development Course© has been developed by the ad hoc Rural Trauma Committee of the American College of Surgeons. • Course is not meant to replace any other trauma course

• If the participants have not taken ATLS or TNCC (or the equivalent), the course is meant to encourage them to take one of these courses as well as educate them in the team concept

• If they have taken ATLS or TNCC, then they benefit from the team concept taught in the course

This has been proven during the courses

we have given so far!!
