The Facts• Man has always obtained meat as a source of food,
and nutrients. However, in today’s fast-paced lifestyle and food driven frenzy, meat production is at an all-time high. It is no longer being manufactured ethically, or safely.
• By Indulging in a carniverous diet, you directly contribute to:
• The unethical slaughter of innocent animals• The pollution of the environment• A shortage of resources• Various diseases and ailments
Meat: Depletes our Resources
As evident, raising animals for slaughter uses excess amounts of resources.
The Negative Effects Eating Meat has on the Environment.
Meat: Affects our Health
• There are more than 27 billion animals killed annually in the U.S. alone.
• Vegetarians are 50% less likely to develop heart disease
• Vegetarians live on average, 6-10 years longer than meat-eaters.
• If every American skipped one meal of chicken per week in favour of vegetarian foods, the carbon dioxide savings would be equal to taking more than a half million cars off U.S. roads.

The consumption of meat products is not only an unethical practice, but also harms the environment, animals, and our bodies. By switching to vegetarianism, you will enhance your health, our planet’s health, and the protection of animals from unethical slaughter practices.
