Size X2 Ex Power Connector <660A, 690VBayonet system

Cavotec Connectors is well known formanufacturing customised high qualityelectrical connectors for harsh environ-ments.

Cavotec Connector products are knownfor their innovative design features, suchas a system of pins that use lamellartechnology to optimize the contact sur-face and enable a light and compactdesign. Cable terminals screwed to thepins enable a quick replacement of pinswithout dismantling the connector.

PC2-EX 690VThe PC2-Ex 690V series is rated Ex d, IIB,T3 and is available in single, 4 or 18 pinconfiguration (max. 690V and 300mm2cable). The plug is fixed to the socket witha bayonet type screw ring, which is securedby a bolt. The housing is marine-grade alu-minium with pins in silver plated brass.Ingress protection is IP67 when connected,

or with mounted covers. ATEX approval byNEMKO. Options include additional keying,an extra M16 cable gland (for pilotcircuit/power monitoring) and wall moun-ting plates. Plug and socket covers arestandard.

PC2-EX 7200VThe PC2-Ex 7200V series is rated Ex d, IIC,T6 and is available in single pin configura-tion (max. 7200V and 240mm2 cable). Thehousing is stainless steel with pins in silverplated copper and insulators in Teflon. Theplug is fixed to the socket by three bolt.The unit is filled with re-entrable insulationgel. Ingress protection is IP67 when con-nected, or with mounted covers. ATEXapproval by NEMKO.

Options include additional keying, an extraM20 cable gland (for capacity monitoring),earthed covers for connector and socketand wall mounting plates.
