The earth’s crust is the layer of the earth in witch we live on.
It is also the thinnest layer.
The mantle is made up of two layers the upper mantle and lower mantle.
The mantle is also the thickest layer.
The inner core is made up of solid Iron and Nickel.
The outer core is made up of a liquid of Iron and Nickel.
P-waves stand for primary waves, and they can flow through solids and liquids.
S-waves stand for secondary waves, and they also can flow through solids but not liquids.
The shaking that results from the movement of rock beneath Earth's surface.
The soft layer of the mantle and the lithosphere floats on it.
A rigid layer made up of the uppermost part of the mantle and the crust. One of four spheres into which scientists divide Earth.
A device that records ground movements caused by seismic waves as they move through Earth.
