 1 Product Overview DC Power Distributor 6 (DCPD6) has the f ollowing function s: 1) Provides one channel o f -48V DC power inpu t and supports a current of no t more than 100A; 2) Provides nine channels o f DC power output, e ach of which is cont rolled by a n indepe ndent hydraulic breaker to support a current of not m ore than 20A; 3) Provides lightn ing protectio n and surge pro tection for the power output th rough a built-in lightning protection board; 4) Provides dry contact alarm ou tput on the lightn ing protection board. 3 Typical Application

DCPD6 applies to distributed base station systems, in which it powers BBU and RRU. The power

cable of RRU should be shielded and the shielded layer must be connected to the outdoor

grounding bar before being connected into the cabinet or equipment room.
