The purpose of your human body is not to

‘live the good life’, but to ceaselessly serve God.

You are bound by the chains of Moha and Maya. Moha is

your strong attraction to what is impermanent. Everything

impermanent is Maya.



Attachment to Delusion (Moha for Maya) is the cause of your painful

suffering through lifetimes.



You cannot be free from karmic bondage as long

as you have desires.



Your impure mind constantly craves to relive pleasure it has already experienced. It repeatedly seeks enjoyment

through tastes, sights, scents, sounds, and sensations. Your

need to always experience pleasure drags you backwards

and deeper into gluttony, overindulgence and inanity.



Make a list of everything you have done only to feel happy.

Then, put each activity intoone of two categories:

Gave MePermanent Happiness

or Gave Me

Temporary Happiness

Something startlingwill come to light.



Beauty will leave your body, life will leave your loved

ones, profits will leave your organisation, gleam will leave your car, mystique will leave your mansion. What then,

will you be left with?



Awaken to the impermanence of everything

and everyone but God.



Ceaselessly strive to know your Pure Self.

Cultivate Atma Bhava. Realise the eternal glory

of your eternal Soul.



Your Soul is your effulgent beacon. It guides you and

shows you the way to God.



Become Antar-mukha(inward facing).

Contemplate upon the impermanence of all your acquisitions. Contemplate

upon the permanence of God.



Abhyasa and Vairagya are the only two tools you require to purify yourself fully and

realise your Pure Self.

Abhyasa is your consistent practise of removing your pain-causing impurities.

Vairagya is supremenon-attachment to

sensory objects. It is total renunciation of all

anti-spiritual pursuits.



Vairagya arises when you apply wholehearted effort

to wean yourself away from sensory objects and direct

your attention to God.



Abhyasa and Vairagya are integral to each other.

Devoted practise leads to detachment. Detachment deepens devoted practise.



Vairagya is the axe with which you can sever the

shackles of Moha and Maya.



Give up your personal likes and dislikes. Your likes

drag you towards pleasure. Your dislikes compel you to

avoid pain. Aatma Jnana (knowledge of your Pure Self)

is impossible without pain.



Permanent Vairagya arises from Vivek. Vivek is your discerning ability to differentiate between the

pure and impure. Vivek comes through your full understanding that all

objects are impermanent and attachment to them

is self-destructive.



Firmly resolve to not be tempted by temptation.



Vairagya is living with the minimum, to your maximum.



Cultivating Vairagya is a slow process. If you yank yourself abruptly from the world and

give up everything altogether, you will surely lose your mind. To maintain your equilibrium,

you must patiently work on removing yourself from

sensory attachment, calmly and steadily.



While it is necessary to detach yourself from your desires, it is equally important to

attach yourself fully to God. Else, you will be like a broken

leaf; easily swept away by tempestuous winds.



Only pure, selfless Bhakti can keep you established

in Vairagya.



The more fervently you choose God, the deeper He

will penetrate and purify you.



Cultivate these five pure qualities to establish yourself

in Vairagya:

Full faith in Yoga and God.

Enthusiastic practise of the full path of Ashtanga Yoga.

Repeated remembrance of your goal of self-purification.

Training of your mind tofocus on God throughout.

Striving for Right Knowledge (knowledge of your Pure Self).



Silence is a necessary discipline for you to cultivate Vairagya.



Vairagya does not put an end to your emotions. It removes

your emotional ups and downs and harmonises you fully.



Utter Vairagya culminates in a complete dissolution of

your Ego into Divinity.



The mind of a Vairaagi is still, clear and fully

immersed in God.

A Vairaagi is one who continuously practises

Vairagya.



When you call to God from a state of utter Vairagya, you move Him, awaken Him from deep meditation and evoke within Him love, love and

pure love for you.



When there is utter Vairagya, there can be no fear. Service to the Lord is full and pure.



Vairaagis work ceaselessly for Jan Jaagruti and Lok Kalyaan.

Awakening of Humanityand Welfare of the Cosmos.



No pain can cause you suffering if you abide

in Vairagya.



Only through Vairagya, will you experience supreme and

ever-lasting contentment.



Vairagya leads you to full Self-reliance.



When Vairagya becomes absolutely pure, the

Vairaagi goes through thoughtlessness during

meditation. Only the cosmic witness and Om exist.



All knowledge emanates from and dissolves into a Vairaagi. Yet, a Vairaagi reverberates with only one syllable: Om.



Om expands and expands and expands through one

who is a true Vairaagi.



There is no distinguishing attribute of Vairagya.

Not even Vibhuti.



Both Siva and Vishnu are Supreme Householders

abiding in Vairagya.



Through Vairagya comes annihilation of the cosmos.

Through Vairagya comes its creation and selfless

sustenance.



Meditate on Siva. Si is an inhalation, a fullness.

Va is an exhalation,an utterlessness.



Vairagya burns up all evil.



Vishva-Shanti (Cosmic Peace) emanates from Vairagya.



The most supreme Vairaagi with whom you already reside, is your own Soul.
