From the President's Desk: “Thanks” There are times that we forget to say “Thanks” for the help that we have receive from our friends and neighbors. There are many residents in Grand Valley that have freely given their time to organize, plan and work on the various functions that have become a part of the social activities for the residents of Grand Valley. Volunteers have given their time on the various committees that have been formed for our community. Many hours of work is donated behind the scenes by the volunteers that provide the social activities that everyone can enjoy. Breakfasts, Dances, Dinners, Bingo, Picnics, Tag Sale, Grape Vine and other social events that may never have taken place, if it was not for the residents of Grand Valley that have stepped forward and have given their time. They have worked together to provide successful events that are enjoyed by all. I am not going to try to name everyone that has helped during the year at the different events. I may have a "senior moment" and would regrettably omit someone's name and I do not want to offend anyone. You know who you are and I hope that you know that your work is very much appreciated. It's time to send a "Big Thank You" to you for your time and work that you have given to the Grand Valley Home Owners Association. The next time you attend a Grand Valley Function, remember to say “Thank You” to your neighbor that has given up their time to provide you with an activity that you enjoyed. Better still, become a volunteer and join in the fun, volunteers are always welcome. Thanks again to all. Marty Meehan

It's That Time Again .... Spring has arrived and it’s that time of the year when some of our friends and neighbors head back to their breeding grounds. We wish them a safe trip and hope that they enjoy the summer months. Remember to come back; as you will be missed and the residents of Grand Valley will be counting the days until you arrive back home safely.

Help Reduce Printing Costs Send an email to walda@ tampabay.rr.com to be added to the list of those who get the Grapevine via their email. Printing costs are going up – and the only way we can reduce the cost of printing the Grapevine is by having more people get it online instead of a printed copy. Right now, I have several (20 +) interesting articles that I would love to include in our newsletter, but that would increase the page count, which would increase the cost to print it. You can help by electing to get the Grapevine via your email. Give it a try - what have you got to lose?
