Operation
1. Operation and Setting
2. Start-up
3. Shutting down
Start-up
Conduct checks after starting
Proceed as follows to star up the forming section.
Prepare wires mechanically
Conduct checks before starting
Put forming section into operation
Prepare the wires mechanically
5. Adjust wire tension by moving stretche roll.
Prerequisite
1. Switch on safety switch (power switch).
2. Move breast rolls into operating position, breast roll nuts tightened.
3. Move lifter rolls into operating position.
4. Move Top Former F couch cylinder roll into stand-by position
Checks before starting
The following checks have to be made before starting the forming section:
- Eyebolts at spacer blocks properly tightened.
- Hydraulic jacks at spacer blocks removed
- Signaling units installed and adjusted
- Spray angle of showers adjusted
- Guards properly installed
- No contact between the wires, with the exception of TopFormer F
- Wires in central position on the wire guide rolls
- Alarm devices and emergency-off switches are ready for operation
- Unhindered movement of doctors and showers
- Transport routes and walkways cleared from tools, hoses, etc. lying around
- Remote controlled shower valve shall be AUTO mode
- Doctor oscillator shall be AUTO mode
Putting the forming section into operation
1. Set doctors.
2. Open low pressure shower valve.
3. Open edge cleaning and deckle shower valve.
4. Open edge knock-off shower valve.
5. Open knock-off shower 50A valve as back #1 wire drive roll cleaning shower.
6. Open suction couch roll inside shower valve and sealing water valve.
7. Open and adjust the suction couch roll air load tube line.
8. Activate heating and ventilating system.
9. Open drainage element moistening showers.
10. Switch wire drives to crawl speed.
To be continued...
11. Check doctor oscillators.
12. Check HP showers and oscillators.
13. Check deckle jet and tail squirts.
14. Check wire run and wire tension.
Putting the forming section into operation
15. Increase wire speed slowly to operating speed.
16. Activate fan pump (for back liner, first activate dilution fan pump, then fan pump).
17. Move couch cylinder roll into operating position as soon as wires run synchronously.
18. Check and adjust wire tension.
19. Activate vacuum system.
20. Switch on stock pump.
21. Check knock-off shower
Checks after starting
The following checks have to be made after starting the forming section:
- Showers in operation (except chemical shower).
- Swinging sensors in central position
- Centered wire run
- Wire tension
- Vacuum in drainage elements
- Doctors adjusted correctly and functioning
- Doctor discharge openings free
Shutting down
1. Open knock off shower valve.
2. Switch off stock pump.
3. Switch off vacuum system.
4. Move couch cylinder rolls into stand-by position.
5. Deactivate fan pump (for back liner, first deactivate fan pump, then dilution water fan pump).
6. Switch off wire drives.
7. Deactivate showers and oscillators.
8. Lift off doctors.
9. Deactivate heating and ventilating system.
10. Adjust wire tensions to 0 kN/m.
11. Carry out cleaning.
12. Carry out inspection.

Variant 1:Pivot identic cutting point. After angle setting the cutting pointremains in the slit of the pipe suction.

Variant 2:Pivot not identic cutting point. After an angle setting the cutting pointmoves on the wire the distance ds andchanges the distance nozzle to wire. The nozzle stick can be turned byloosening of screw.(see picture in previous page).
