The JSOU Interagency Education Program provides a comprehensive program of instruction designed to support all aspects of the critically important United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) interagency partnership plan. This program includes five courses and seminars tailored to specific audiences, each with different perspectives on interagency collaboration.

Interagency CoursesCombating Terrorism Executive Interagency Seminar (CbTEIS)Provides a forum for national security executives to discuss subjects related to combating terrorism and national security. This seminar is presented through lectures, panels, and collaboration sessions designed to promote dialogue about current issues and themes related to combating terrorism and other violent extremist threats.

Duration: 2 days

Target Audience: Executive-level national security professionals from United States agencies and organizations involved in the combating terrorism and national security arena.

Special Operations Forces Interagency Collaboration Course (SOFIACC)Prepares national security professionals from relevant government agencies to collaborate successfully in the complex interagency environment related to operations against terrorist networks. Target Audience: Mid-career national security professionals from United States agencies and organizations involved in the synchronization of operations against terrorist networks and other violent extremist threats.

Target Audience: Mid-career professionals from USSOCOM components, the theater special operations commands, and other organizations

involved in the planning, synchronization, and execution of operations and activities designed to disrupt violent extremist networks.

The Inter-Ministerial Collaboration Course (IC2) and Interagency Counterterrorism Seminar Mobile Education Team (IACT MET) are provided as required in coordination with theater special operations commands and USSOCOM components.

Inter-Ministerial Collaboration Course (IC2)Provides students an understanding of how military forces collaborate with the law enforcement, intelligence, developmental, and informational elements of power in the international environment to disrupt complex, irregular threats. This course can have a national or regional focus. This program is presented through lectures, guided discussions, and a practical exercise.

Duration: 5 days

Participants: Mid-career to senior national security professionals from partner nation organizations involved in combating violent extremism.
