1) Use the navigation frame to view published documents.

3) You can also view documents using special custom views. These views can be created by the Content Manager, and show documents sorted by one of their properties. For example, you can view documents sorted by the document ‘owner’ property.

4) Use the ‘Feedback’ link at bottom of each document to send feedback to document owner. Any feedback can also be automatically sent to users other than the document owner (this option needs to be set in the Administration area of DocPublisher.

5) To search for a document, click on the ‘Search’ button, type the search words in the ‘Search for’ text box and press enter.

6) A list of documents containing the search phrase will be displayed while the phrase will also be highlighted in the content area.

7) If needed, you can also perform search within a selected folder, and not the whole database. Just select the required folder in the drop-down box below the search text-box.

Note: A document may not be available in search results immediately upon publishing, but it will become available after the database gets indexed. Database indexing occurs in regular intervals on Domino server, or manual indexing can also be performed by Conent Manager.

8) By clicking on the ‘Advanced search’ link, you can also perform search through document properties (such as document title, version, owner etc). In addition to the default document properties available in DocPublisher, search can also performed through any user defined properties (created in the Administration area). Just select a property and enter the value you are looking for. You can add additional filters to your search by clicking on the ‘Add filter’ link.

9) If needed, search results can also be sorted and the number of results limited.

What we have done: We browsed through the published documentation by

using the standard folder tree and also by using a custom view

We viewed most recent document updates and saw the RSS subscription link

We sent feedback to document owner and searched through documentation
