ECOLOGICAL GENOCIDE IN PANCEVO: Judging by itsfar-reaching consequences, the destruction of theChemicals Production Plant is the most perfidious of all theways of killing people and devastating the country inflictedby NATO so far. By destroying the Petrochemicals andFertilizer Production Plants in Panevo NATO conveys aclear message of its intention to contaminate the environ-

ment of Yugoslavia, as well as the whole of the Balkans.Ecological genocide implies silent, long-lasting andinevitable dying through contaminating the environmentwhich represents the basic prerequisite for human life.

Pristina Corps Units are completing their assignment andkeeping under control the province of Kosovo and Metohija. In the past days the NATO criminal aggression accomplishedonly one thing unprecedented crimes against humanityagainst all the peoples living in Yugoslavia.

In the past 23 days of continued aggression, NATO criminalshad to abandon their original Blitzkrieg plan, and initiated thethird phase of aggression. After the attacks on all military andindustrial plants and objectives, they have started destroyingcivilian facilities: schools, hospitals, commercial and industrialsites, and even monasteries; this is what is referred to as anoperation for the isolation of the battlefield aimed at destroy-ing all that moves, civilian convoys above all.

Five or six days ago and ahead of schedule, NATO practi-cally entered the third phase of aggression on our country. Itstarted with the air-ground battle in the Pristina Corps zone.Along a front some 15-20 kilometers long, a ground aggres-sion has been launched from Albania. It has been set up byNATO and involves several thousand terrorists rounded up

from Western Europe, Macedonia, Albania, and the AlbanianArmy units, preceded by a relentless air preparation of theattack along the entire front with Albania. The Pristina Corpsunits are still carrying out all assignments, protecting theircombat potentials from NATO air-strikes, defending theintegrity of FR Yugoslavia and maintaining full military controlof the entire Kosmet, brigadier general Vladimir Lazarevic said.
