the species began to disappear due to hunting, pollution or destruction of the

NOWADAYS…Now there are so many animals that are endangered, that their list is kept in the "Red Book".Unfortunately, the list gets longer every year.

In Every 20 minutes on the Earth an animal or plant species
disappears.

These three species - bearded vulture maiden Crane Little Bustard
and no longer nest in Bulgaria, or migrate through it.

Bulgaria is extremely rich in endemic plants, which can not be seen anywhere else in the world - 170 species. Moreover, the country established and around 200 Balkan endemics, many of which are distributed mainly in Bulgaria and initially found it.
During the Ice Age glaciers were significantly weaker and more cushioned than in other parts of Europe and there remained a number of plants that have not survived elsewhere.
