SECTION 01005 MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS SUBSECTION INDEX 1.0 General 2.0 Traffic Control 3.0 Voltage Ratings of Motors 4.0 Start-up Spare Parts 5.0 Delivery, Storage and Handling 1.0 General A. Contractor shall conform to all miscellaneous requirements as herein specified
and as specified under Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards. 2.0 Traffic Control A. For control of traffic, Contractor shall provide an adequate number of flag-men
employed at his own expense. B. The employment or presence of traffic flag-men, shall in no way relieve
Contractor of any responsibility or liability which is his, under the terms of the Contract.
C. Contractor shall provide detour signs, barricades, etc., as and where required. D. A traffic flow plan shall be provided per G.I. 1021.00. E. All traffic signs shall be standard in compliance with Saudi Government and Saudi
Aramco regulations. 3.0 Voltage Ratings of Motors A. Unless otherwise specified or indicated on Drawing, motors rated voltages shall
be in accordance with SAES-P-113. 4.0 Start-Up Spare Parts A. Refer to schedule `G' of the Contract. 5.0 Delivery, Storage and Handling A. Comply with the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations. B. Shipping:

1. Ship equipment, material and specified spare parts complete except
where partial disassembly is required by transportation regulations or for protection of components.
2. Pack spare parts in containers bearing labels clearly designating contents
and pieces of equipment for which intended. 3. Deliver specified spare parts at same time as pertaining equipment.
Deliver to Saudi Aramco after completion of Work. C. Receiving: 1. Assume responsibility for equipment, material and spare parts before
unloading from carrier at site. 2. Inspect and inventory items upon delivery to site. 3. Unload, haul, and store items. 4. Pay all demurrage charges if failed to promptly unload items. 5. Store and safeguard equipment, material and spare parts. - END OF SECTION -
