Total Integrated Solutions

Meinhardt is one of the very few multi-disciplinary firms operating on a global basis. Our architects and engineers work in an integrated environment and hence appreciate the interfacing requirements of all disciplines. Integration has been demonstrated to benefit our clients by ensuring solutions are fully coordinated and holistic.

As a multi-disciplinary practice we provide a total team approach to all aspects of architecture and engineering, including architectural design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fire and life safety, hydraulics, communications, security, transportation, civil engineering, structural engineering, façade design, environmental design and infrastructure.

Our philosophy is simple: our clients’ needs are paramount. Yet determining those needs is rarely a simple task. In order to produce the ultimate engineering solution, we take the time to understand our clients’ business and all relevant factors. The outcome is a solution that has the flexibility to cater for changing conditions and provide added value to the client. The Meinhardt Group maintains a centralized technology knowledge base. As a result of this structure our various disciplines can access and share all the knowledge and technology gained and/or developed by the offices at the various geographical locations.

Innovative Designs

We are recognized for providing innovative, cost-effective and highly buildable designs for all our projects.

The design solutions proposed for our One Raffles Quay (50-storey North Tower), 70/63-storey The Sail, 280 metre tall OUB Centre (all in Singapore), Signature Towers and the 82-storey Ocean Heights in Dubai transcend conventional approach to structural engineering.

Experience in Mega-Projects

Meinhardt has extensive experience in the design and construction implementation of some of the tallest and largest buildings and infrastructure projects both in Singapore and Asia Pacific region. Some of these have world ranking.

Quality Systems

The Meinhardt Group operates a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001: 1994 and employs a full-time Quality Manager.

Under the company’s Quality Management System, a specific Project Quality Plan (PQP) is prepared at the beginning of every project.

The activities of all team members and all sub-consultants engaged in the services will be subject to the PQP, whether they are at the Project Design Office or in their own home-office. This is vital to control all aspects of the design process to produce a seamless and complete design to meet the project objectives and the Client’s requirements.

The PQP is reviewed and amended by the design team’s dedicated Quality Management Representative (QMR) prior to the Client’s Representative. On approval, it will be reviewed by the QMR and amended so as to continue to meet the Client’s and the project’s objectives within the requirements of an ISO 9001: 1994 Quality Management System.

Meinhardt has full accreditation for internal Quality Procedures Manual and associated systems based on Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001 Quality Management Guidelines. These systems have been successfully applied on recently completed major projects and have ensured proper resource allocation, work scheduling, co-ordination, quality checks, monitoring of progress and delivery of a quality product and service.

All Meinhardt personnel have a responsibility to ensure that our Quality Systems are implemented and maintained for continued appropriateness and effectiveness.

The application of the QA principles is an important element in the way all projects are carried out in our office. We have seen the development of these procedures as a real opportunity to introduce benefits in

operations and project control.
