Applications
Machining of solid woodToday’s wood machining industry demands high cutting performance combined with high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality. MAKA fully meets these requirements with specially developed wood machining centres.
Door machiningThe compact machines perform all types of milling and cutting processes on the same door leaf: cutting, rebating, arc rounding, vision panel cut-out, milling of door cassettes or ornaments as well as lock and hinge recessing.
Stairs machiningComplete machining of semi-mounted saddled staircase stringers with undercut in one single clamping process. Complete string wreath production with handrail and paling holes, milling of the handrail profi le together with the stringer machining as well as exactly positioning the fi tting holes for posts and rails in one step are just a few of the MAKA benefi ts.
Latest technology
High-tech for effi ciency and for the environment¬ Our stationary CNC machining centre PE 90 is designed for universal use in the wood machining industry and fulfils various requirements when machining stairs, doors and long workpieces
¬ The high rigidity of the machine‘s 5-axis working unit is the result of X-axis gantry drives and a Y-axis gantry/double guide system. This ensures a high milling quality even when cutting solid wood
¬ We configure and equip the PE 90 to customer specifications. The components you can choose from are geared to real-world needs. This includes the table design and configuration, machining units, tool magazines and machine control. We also offer equipment packages suitable for different industries, such as stairs and door machining
¬ The sliding gantry machine features well-proven mechanical and electronic components and makes targeted use of 5-axis technology. Thus, you can be sure to get a perfect fit for your particular application
¬ You can also use the machine table in an alternating operation mode. This minimises auxiliary process times for loading and unloading of workpieces
Green technology:¬ Low energy consumption thanks to innovative electronic systems such as a frequency-controlled vacuum pump and MAKA energy-saving concepts
¬ MAKA was awarded the environmental prize conferred by the Federation of German Industries (BDI)
