DescriptionThe Smart Control 8 (SSC-0008) is part of the Savant SmartControl family designed to provide infrared (IR) and serial control of third party devices.

The SSC-0008 is an intelligent control product that connects with flat panel displays, DVD players, audio/video receivers, set-top boxes, projectors, lights, thermostats, window treatments, security systems, and other equipment commonly used in home automation and business installations.

SSC-0008 is a solution for small installations controlling IR-based devices. The SSC-0008 can also be used for cost-effective control expansion—especially when additional IR control ports are required.

SSC-0008 can be linked to any Savant SmartSystem™ containing a Savant Host—HST-series or SVR-series.
