Initially I was supposed to take some times to realize that the knowledge I have gained from the ATI is not same as the practical experience that I have trained. My knowledge was focused directly on most of the theory parts of engineering, but the experience that I have gained is totally a practical knowledge by following those theories. In fact a perfect engineer is well aware of the practical work and theories. This was my opportunity to try and use my theoretical knowledge in practical work processes. And also this was an opportunity to identify the practical problems that we encounter in construction sites and their proper solutions. This was an opportunity to improve my real team work spirit in the field of engineering, since I was working under a site engineer throughout my training period. It helped me to differentiate between a student’s life and being a responsible person. And also I was able use this opportunity to improve my management skills in construction work processes and labour management skills. Finally I would like thank everyone who helped me to complete my training successfully, and also I would like to mention that this was an invaluable opportunity which is provided by NAITA and I believe that I have achieved the maximum out of it.

CHAPTER 3

3.0 CONCLUTION

As a Civil Engineering student and a beginner, I wish to mention that the training

program that I have completed successfully is considered as the first step of our career in the

field of engineering.

Initially I was supposed to take some times to realize that the knowledge I have gained from the

ATI is not same as the practical experience that I have trained. My knowledge was focused

directly on most of the theory parts of engineering, but the experience that I have gained is

totally a practical knowledge by following those theories.

In fact a perfect engineer is well aware of the practical work and theories. This was my

opportunity to try and use my theoretical knowledge in practical work processes. And also this

was an opportunity to identify the practical problems that we encounter in construction sites and

their proper solutions.

This was an opportunity to improve my real team work spirit in the field of engineering, since I

was working under a site engineer throughout my training period. It helped me to differentiate

between a student’s life and being a responsible person. And also I was able use this opportunity

to improve my management skills in construction work processes and labour management skills.

Finally I would like thank everyone who helped me to complete my training successfully, and

also I would like to mention that this was an invaluable opportunity which is provided by

NAITA and I believe that I have achieved the maximum out of it.
