Moller, CEO - Dr. Moller received his Master and PhD degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from McGill University. He then joined U.C. Davis, where he created the aeronautical engineering program, within the mechanical engineering department. While at U.C. Davis he created the first civilian oriented VTOL capable “flying car and demonstrated it before the international press in 1967. In 1974 he left the University as a professor emeritus to form Moller Corporation with the goal of developing a personal airborne vehicle (PAV). To fund this effort, he created a high- performance exhaust silencing system that became an international best seller. It was produced by a division of Moller Corporation called SuperTrapp Industries. In 1983 Dr. Moller spun off Moller International as a separate division in which all aircraft and engine development would take place. In addition to developing the Skycar® and Neuera “flying cars” or “volantors”, Moller International also developed drone versions called Aerobots. Prototype Aerobots were delivered to several civilian and military black programs including NASA, NOSC, DARPA, NRL, Harry Diamond Labs., Hughes Aircraft Company, Caltrans, and the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force. In 1997 Freedom Motors was spun off as a division of Moller International to exploit the non-aircraft market for an engine with the unique attributes of the Rotapower® rotary engine. In 2002, Freedom Motors became a separate company, but remains affiliated with Moller International. Dr. Moller has received numerous patents on rotary engines and VTOL airframe configurations. Subhash Paluru, Chief Executive Officer - Dr. Paluru joined Freedom Motors in July 2018 as the Executive Director of Business Development and subsequently elected by the board of directors as the CEO. Prior to joining Freedom Motors. Prior to joining Freedom Motors, he was appointed to the US Government’s Senior Executive service (SES) in 2014 during President Obama administration. As a SES, Dr. Paluru lead Western Area Power Administration’s (WAPA) Sierra Nevada Regional Office (SNR) headquartered in Folsom, CA. Under his leadership SNR marketed power in northern and central California, and portions of Nevada, to wholesale customers and Federal end-use customers such as towns, rural electric cooperatives, public utility and irrigation districts, Federal, state, and military agencies, Native American tribes and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation customers.
