Alkira will provide transport from the activity meeting place to the venue and back to the meeting place after the activity. Unfortunately, we do not have a vehicle with wheel chair access. Participants are welcome to meet the group at the activity venue by arrangement with the Recreation Coordinator. Carers are responsible for :

• Arranging transport to the activity meeting place and home after the activity

• Ensuring participants arrive at the meeting place no later than 10 minutes prior to activity start time

• Speaking with the Alkira Recreation Officer (not leaving a message on the mobile phone) if there are any issues relating to the person’s transport.

2. Activity Sky High Mount Dandenong

Description Situated on the uppermost reach of the Dandenong Ranges, amid cool ferny glades and lush towering native forests, Sky High is one of Victoria’s premier tourist attractions with majestic views of the Melbourne skyline. Explore the popular Sky High Maze and have some lunch at the award winning Sky High Bistro.

Description The National Rhododendron Gardens is a popular destination located in the Dandenong Ranges. This serene setting houses a variety of colourful blooms; including azaleas, camellias and daffodils. All year round the gardens stay vibrant and colourful with its wide variety of blooming gardens. The perfect place for a peaceful picnic.

7. Activity Come From Away - A New Musical

Description Musicals are supposed to be engaging, and of course, contain singable and memorable tunes. But for the musical Come From Away, it's much more than just that.
