Dead Finish Museum Built by Alfred Smith in 1872, theMuseum is the oldest building inBeverley. The collection anddisplays of artefacts depict life inBeverley since its settlement in1831. Open on Sundays from mid-March to October or [email protected].

Aeronautical Exhibition The Beverley Visitor Centrelocated in the Cornerstonebuilding on Vincent Street has awonderful interactive displaycomplete with a 1:5 scale model ofthe Silver Centenary plane built inBeverley. A vampire jet can also beseen on Hunt Road which has a“Flying though history” display onthe Aviation history in Beverleyand the region.

Heritage Walk TrailHead to the Caravan Park or Shire to grab your copy of the self-guided Heritage Walk Trail throughout Goomalling town site. The trailtells a brief history of buildings in town that have historical or socialsignificance.

Goomalling Old School MuseumIt was once the Konnongorring School (relocated), a one teacherschool common in the region between 1900 and 1940. The buildinghas been restored and refurbished to replicate what rural andisolated education was like. There is also a school master’s residence,school bus and an assortment of “collectibles” in a shed on thegrounds (Open by appointment). Slater HomesteadBuilt in 1856, Slater Homestead is one of the oldest homes in thedistrict, the buildings have been restored and are open to visitors. Theprecinct includes a barn function centre, period accommodation andMary's Tea Rooms (Open by appointment). Ph: 0429 468 763
