This unit features an overall output of 8 watts, undistorted sound. - - - equivalent to approximately twice the output of a mantel household radio - - - This is of great . value when travelling in areas where stations are weak as it allows the operator to listen to a . chosen station over a greater distance.

STATIC INTERFERENCE from overhead power lines has always been a problem with car. radio's, TIllS BMC PUSH BUTTON RADIO NOW FEATURES A "CRACKLE CUTTER" . SWITCH which is located behind the manual tuning knob. This effectively cuts out high frequency . interference and allows the listener to continue enjoying the selected programme. For instant· selection of stations they have 5 push buttons which can be set to any 5 preselected stations in . the following manner:-

( 1) Unlock push button by pulling out.

(2) Tune to selected station with manual tuning knob.

(3) Lock push button onto station by pushing in firmly.

This set also features a plated chassis for protection under tropical conditions and a printed circuit board for greater reliability.

Current consumption is less than 1 amp.

With the exception of the push button, static switch and additional output, these sets have the . same characteristics as the push button model.

Universal - Push button & Manual - Transistorised "-'.

This underdash fitting radio is available in push button and manual models and are termed as "HYBRED" RECEIVERS. - - - That is, they are part valve and part transistor (2 valves with 4 valve function and 4 transistors) - - - Output of each of these sets is 2 watts. I WING EXTENSION KITS

These kits are made to conform with State Traffic Regulations where it is stipulated that wing

extensions must be affixed to a vehicle where wide rims or wider tyres than those originally fitted

are used on a vehicle.

Two type of kits' are available-HYL3937 fitted to Miru Cooper "s" vehicles as standard

equipment during 1969 and HYL3942 which will fi,t all BMC Mini type vehicles.

Individual wing extensions are available complete with components.
