Class Cancellation PoliciesThe Cancellation Policy for all dance, art, and theater classes and music group lessons is as follows:

You may leave a class within five weeks with no financial penalty. If you drop the class within the first five weeks, you will be charged for only the number of classes provided until the drop. For classes beginning October 13, the final day to drop without financial penalty is November 10.

After five weeks, you will be charged for the full cost of the class, although exceptions may be made for a prolonged illness, injury, or an out-of-the-area move.

To remove a student from a class, simply fill out and turn in our Class Drop form (available at the front desk).

The Cancellation Policy for private music lessons is as follows: If you cannot make a lesson, you must contact the teacher directly to

cancel. Do not call Neighborhood Studios to cancel. Full tuition is still charged for all cancelled lessons.

If you provide the teacher with at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, you may receive a make-up lesson, depending on the availability and inclination of the teacher. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed.

If you do not attend a lesson and do not notify the teacher, this is considered an unexcused absence. Full tuition is still charged and no make-up lessons are given for an unexcused absence. Any student who has more than three consecutive unexcused absences will lose his/her scheduling spot and will have to call Neighborhood Studios to reschedule.

Any lessons that are canceled by the teacher or due to inclement weather will not count as a lesson and will be made up at the earliest possible time.

To remove a student from a private music lesson, simply fill out and turn in our Class Drop form (available at the front desk). Your tuition will be reduced to reflect the number of lessons taken (including any cancellations and unexcused absences).
