CORPORATE RESEARCH: Johnathan Bielaski is an environmental photographer. The image appears on his blog. Targeted towards those who have an interest in hospitality such as cafes/restaurants as well as potential businesses, like the one above, from a promotional stand point. In which they could advertise and represent their business. With this said it also provides the appropriate message and values put across by the business. The image conveys a sense of a friendly warm environment from the small business from the way the staff member is a friendly conversation with the customer. Revealed by the model’s posture and body language, it shows a homelier and more relaxed atmosphere due to the relaxed poses and positive facial expressions. Adding to this, the addition of mix match curtains again gives off the homely welcome. There is lighting coming from both angles of the image. One from the right-hand side lighting the inside of the trailer and the other coming across the customers shoulder from the left, shadowing the customer in the foreground and putting full attention on the lady.

CORPORATE RESEARCH:

Johnathan Bielaski is an environmental photographer.

The context in which they were taken is that they are part of a series called ‘At work and play’. Representing different areas of work such as the small individual business’s such as this.

Again, by Johnathan Bielaski and of the same series, ‘At work and play’. The image appears as part of the blog. Much like before it is targeted towards those in the hospitality sector including, but not limited to, baristas such as this one.

Shown as more of a candid shot, it still showcases the business along with some of its products/services.

With this image, there is an element of care and time putting across the message of good quality. This is what the public look for from a place such as this one.

Lit from the upper right corner, the image is given a more natural ambient light. Shadowing coming from the left adding a slight contrast and depth of field by giving an almost crisp focus on the coffee wrack.

These images have been taken to show the skills of the business and as part of the series mentioned above.

Photographer known as Andresr, the group portrait appears on the stock image site, ‘Gettyimages’. With it appearing on a stock site, its audience are corporate markets, creative professionals and general media.

The message of this images is putting across a team of staff that are friendly, motivated and welcoming. This is shown by the overall composition of the models, linked arms, smiling and in general looking happy.

Lighting from above in the right foreground, either by sky light or artificial lighting set up. It highlights the models faces and aprons again adding to a more positive outcome. There is also a natural sky light lighting the background.

By photographer Rich Legg, this image appears on a stock image website for corporate marketing, general media and creative professionals as its audience.

By having a variety of models/customers such as couples, disabled and business persons, it sends across the message that alls welcome. The composition supports this as it is clear and easy to follow with the wheelchair dead centre, emphasising that everyone is welcome idea.

Natural lighting coming from the left with a background of hanging artificial light leaves the image light and open, which again adds to the positive nature of photo.

This image is a formal/constructed portrait, used for advertising as well as giving a face to a business. As with most environmental portraits the model is surrounded by the café in which we are led to believe he works in. With a natural smile but having his arms crossed gives off a friendly but confident business which is what public look for in a good hospitality setting.

Artificial lighting front on highlights the model and giving him the centre of attention.

Photographed by the photographers shapecharge, this image appears on a stock image website for corporate marketing, general media and creative professionals as its audience.

This somewhat candid shot of a café staff member interacting with a customer shows a warm welcoming environment with an appealing facial expression. The message, much like other hospitality focused shots, is that it is welcoming and friendly with positive staff, including appealing surroundings.

The lighting is natural coming from possibly a large window to the left of the frame. With the staff in focus the lighting helps emphasis her and her body language as well as composition.
