8:30 a.m. Meeting Location/Drop Off Location: ATAC 5035 - Thunder Bay/OA 3007Employees hosting a student are asked to drop off their student to participate in activities for the morning.

8:35 a.m. Introductions & Ice-BreakersLocation: ATAC 5035 - Thunder Bay/OA 3007Students will be introduced to Lakehead University, walk through the agenda for the day and start to get to know other students participating in the day through fun and engaging ice-breaker exercises.

9:00 a.m. Welcoming from the President and Associate Vice PresidentLocation: President’s office (Thunder Bay),/OA 3007 OrilliaStudents will have an opportunity to meet with Dr. Stevenson in Thunder Bay and Mr. Frank Cappadocia in Orillia and receive their official welcome to the University.

9:15 a.m. Campus Tour & Career ExplorationThroughout CampusStudents at the Thunder Bay and Orillia campuses will have an opportunity to explore and become more familiar with our exceptional campuses.

10:15 a.m. Major and Career ExplorationLocation: ATAC 5035 - Thunder Bay/OA 3007Students will explore their interests and how those interests match programs/majors at Lakehead University. The session will cover the importance of a university education, the transferable skills gained and career opportunities post-graduation. Learn about unusual types of career paths of some of our very own Lakehead University employees.

11:00 a.m. Health and Safety OrientationLocation: ATAC 5035/OA 3007Ursula McDonald will lead a discussion with students who will learn about the importance of health and safety in the workplace, along with how to ensure a safe working environment and hazards to avoid.
